Break It Up! - Animated Short Film
Break It Up! is a five-minute animated short film following Zack, a teenager struggling to balance who he is and the people he surrounds himself with, as he realizes it's okay to ask for help to get out of a bad situation, all while assisting with a heist. The film serves as a reminder that there will always be people in your life who care, even when it doesn’t seem like it. The ending also leaves the story open to further exploration.
About Emma
Emma is a New Media Studies and Art & Design double major, graduating in April 2026, with a specialization in video editing and graphic design. Behind that is also a deep love of animation and character design. Originally from Oxford, MI, Emma has been quite involved on campus, being the lead web editor for the school newspaper, The Almanian, a Public Services Assistant - Supervisor at the campus library, and the vice-president of Art Club. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in graphic design.
